Hearts at War Program Offered in Appomattox
Museum of the Confederacy staff will celebrate Valentine’s Day with a special glimpse into Victorian Valentine traditions with the program “Hearts at War” on February 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Appomattox Community Center in Appomattox, Virginia. Participants will look at traditions of courtship during the Civil War through artifacts, love letters, and stories.
