I missed meeting Beckie Nix by five minutes two weeks ago, as I arrived at town hall at 4:35 pm and they lock the Town Hall door at 4:30. From the new layout at the Visitor’s Center to an incredible Web site and copious printed materials, Nix and her staff performed tourism wonders during her tenure over the past two years.
