Town Council Agrees to Extend Water to County
In a surprise move Monday, March 10, at the Town Council meeting, Council voted 6-0 to lift the moratorium on hook-ups to the Town water system. Appomattox Mayor, John Wilson said, “According to the 2003 Wiley & Wilson study, the Town of Appomattox has adequate water supplies to meet it projected needs until 2025.”
