The President: Hello everyone – how’s everybody doing today? I’m here with students at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia. And we’ve got students tuning in from all across America, kindergarten through twelfth grade. I’m glad you all could join us today.

In thirty-six years as a union organizer and negotiator, I’ve spent countless hours helping workers and employers come together to find common ground. When it comes to how employees and employers act when workers want to form a union, the Employee Free Choice Act is a great way to put the words “fair” and “deal” back together again. Moreover, this legislation will help us rebuild the middle class so that our economy works for everyone again.

Stimulus.Virginia.Gov will allow localities and citizens to contribute to the decision- making process for the distribution of any federal funds that Virginia receives.
