Appomattox Gas Line Explosion
News this morning of a gas line explosion outside Appomattox on 26. Roads are blocked going out onto 26. Reports are that, following the explosion, a strange cloud came and then rain. It appears that one home was destroyed, but many residents in the area were able to escape by car. Fire was visible in the sky from several miles away, and the explosion was felt in Buckingham County. Please turn to WDBJ or WSET for news.
