- Route 29 Business Sidewalk project (Ambriar Ctr — Williams Creek Bridge): The Town of Amherst is conducting this project which may result in delays.
- Route 604 (624–670) and Route 775 (747 to dead end): Road restricted to one lane due to maintenance activities.
- Route 610 (645 – 738): Road damaged due to flooding. One lane open.

- 605, 614, 636, 644, 651, 661, 719 and 721: Crews will add stone to and dress gavel roads.
- Various: Crews will clean up trees from storms, add stone to private entrances and respond to customer concerns.

- Andersonville, Manteo: Crews will machine various dirt roads.
- Dillwyn area: Crews will clean up trees removed during snowstorms.
- Various: Crews will perform snow clean up and respond to customer concerns.

- Route 501 (between city and Route 24, Rustburg): Crews will hand cut slopes.
- Route 613, 626, 628, and 670 (738 – 501), 917: Crews will cut brush.
- Route 651 (650-652) and 751 (Brown’s Mill to East Ferry): Closed due to flood damage.
- Gladys: Crews will make surface repairs.
- Timberlake: Crews will add stone to driveway entrances and shoulders.
- Yellow Branch: Crews will add stone to driveway entrances and clean pipe.
- Various: Crews will perform snow clean up and respond to customer concerns.

- Route 92 over Staunton River at county line and Route 707: Bridges closed indefinitely.

Route 45 (611-614) – 35 mph speed limit; 1 lane Mon-Sat, 7 am-7 pm with flaggers and pilot vehicles assisting during construction. Minor delays are likely. Est. comp. 5/14/10.
Route 612 at Trice’s Lake Dam: Road closed to through traffic for bridge rehabilitation project.
Route 626, 637 and 672: Crews will cut brush and/or trees.
Route 626: Road closed @ Bigger Creek for pipe repairs.

- Route 92: Bridge closed indefinitely over Staunton River at Charlotte/Halifax County line.

- Route 56 (697-666): Bridge rehabilitation project. Signs, barriers and signals will be used to direct traffic. One lane of traffic restricted to 10’ width. Be alert to traffic pattern changes. Est. comp. 11/12/10.
- Route 56 (752-680): Signs and flaggers will assist motorists during bridge rehabilitation. Temporary lane closures will be in place. Est. comp. 11/12/10.

- Route 687 (886 -689) and 931 (29-654) Road closed for pipe repairs.
- Brosville: Crews will work shoulders, apply maintenance stone and patch potholes.
- Kentuck: Crews will cut trees, patch potholes, do ordinary bridge maintenance and perform customer service.
- Mt. Airy: Crews will make surface repairs, cut brush and respond to customer concerns.
- Rondo: Crews will make shoulder and surface repairs and respond to customer concerns.

- Route 613: Crews will perform boom axe operations.
- Various: Crews will perform pothole repair and respond to customer concerns.

- Forestdale Drive: Road closed to through traffic as part of construction. Access will be maintained from Forestdale to Roman Eagle. Be alert to changes in traffic pattern.
