Concerts include carols
Sweet Briar College will host a series of musical events this upcoming month, beginning with its annual Christmas Vespers at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6. The program will include hymns and carols sung by the College’s concert and chamber choirs, under the direction of Frank Archer.
Students enrolled in music classes at Sweet Briar will perform a recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, and the College’s chamber orchestra, directed by conductor Joe Nigro, will play at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10.
All events will be held in Memorial Chapel and are free to the public.
