Star, dressed up for Halloween
Star, the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library’s only non-human patron, strolled into the library this past week all done up for Halloween. He is sporting the latest look in cobwebs and dead grass from hunting in the basement of Coleman & Son’s Southern States, located on Main Street, across from the library. Star has been making his almost daily rounds to the library and Coleman’s for almost four years.
He spends his mornings at the library before opening hours, and once the doors open for business he makes his way to Coleman’s where he is welcome to explore the nooks and crannies for mice and other uninvited guests.
