Plan for traffic disruptions
Motorists may wish to plan alternate access to Routes 460 and 501 at the interchange near Falwell Airport and Florida Avenue in Lynchburg over the next several weekends.
Crews under contract to the Virginia Department of Transportation will continue paving the ramps at the interchange. The paving will take place on Saturdays, weather permitting.
The ramps will be closed while this work takes place. Signs and other traffic control devices will be used to alert motorists to this change in pattern and alternate routes are available.
