Appomattox Railroad Days Parade Photos
If you missed the parade this morning, never fear. Appomattox News, through reporter Ronnie Lankford, sat on the sidelines and caught the highlights. One highlight, featured at right, is Ann Elizabeth Catron from Charlotte County, who was voted Miss Teen Five County Fair in September this year.
Enjoy the photos below, and check back later this evening for even more images of this weekend’s festivities in Appomattox.

What’s a parade without clowns? These two were ready to entertain the crowds!

A pirate also joined the parade, although many wondered where the ship went…

Fortunately, you don’t see one of these every day…or do you?

The Appomattox Raider’s Cheerleaders helped lift spirits.

And, the Teck Steppers did their part to keep crowds entertained.

The Oriental Band had it a little easier - they got a ride!

Band members at ease, and a little guy on a pony added to the sights.

The Timberlake Sweethearts stole our hearts.

But, the Woodbridge Brothers’ Drag Cars may have stolen other hearts…
